June is recognized as National Safety Month by the National Safety Council (NSC). This month highlights awareness of the leading causes of preventable injuries and illnesses, both at work and at home. The NSC breaks down each week of June with a focus on a specific safety topic designed to help employees recognize hazards, improve decision-making, and strengthen the overall safety culture within the workplace.

At Bizhaven, we proudly support National Safety Month and share the common goal of eliminating preventable injuries and illnesses through education, proactive hazard recognition, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Safety is more than regulatory compliance; it is about protecting people, supporting families, and building workplaces where employees feel valued and empowered to work safely every day.

Throughout this National Safety Month series, we encourage all employees and leaders to actively participate, ask questions, share concerns, and take ownership of on-the-job safety. Every conversation, correction, and safe decision contributes to the larger mission of preventing incidents before they occur.

Throughout this series, we will raise awareness on four major topics:

  1. Moving Safety Forward
  2. Staying Safe on the Roads
  3. Promoting Holistic Worker Health
  4. Preventing Slips, Trips, and Falls

These topics come from the National Safety Council for the month of June. Each tailgate will highlight:

  1. Common injuries and incidents
  2. Real workplace risks
  3. Best practices and prevention strategies
  4. Key takeaways employees can apply immediately

We look forward to you joining us and seeing how our Safety Business Partners can continue to support you in our common goal of not simply compliance but ensuring every employee goes home safe at the end of every shift.
